Hi to all bush walkers–hikers and backpackers from around the world. We would like to introduce our family business ProHike Australia. My name is Patric and my wife's name is Karen, we have two boys Jace and Mitch.

We live in Tasmania, an Island state of Australia. It has rugged mountains, spectacular scenery, pure white beaches and great hiking trails.

In 2008 we decided that we needed to design a hiking trolley that was able to carry our loaded packs. We designed it to be harness free and not cumbersome, one that we could rely on out there on the trails. A trolley that also had other features, like a comfortable seat and eating table.

I have been an engineer for the past thirty years, this greatly helped in the designing process, making it the best user-friendly hiking trolley there is. The simplicity and the enormous benefit of this trolley will have a positive effect on the hiking and backpacking industry around the world.

We find that hiking into those magnificent spots in Tasmania with our Trackmate is a really enjoyable experience.
